After breakfast, drive 90 minutes or so to the lowest place on earth, the Dead Sea, and the mountainous Desert of Moab. You'll have free time to bob on its hyper-salinated waters, smother yourself in therapeutic mud, and admire the startling landscape: you can opt to relax at the Dead Sea Spa, which has pools, towels, and lockers, for an additional fee. At the end of the Siq, you will see the Treasury (Kaznaeh) – which was believed to hold countless treasures. Trace the path further into the gorge to see more of Petra’s stellar sights, including its rock-built theater, which once sat 3,000 spectators, and its cliff-sculpted Royal Tombs. After breakfast, travel to Wadi rum to visit travel by coach with your guide to Wadi Rum, where scenes from Lawrence of Arabia were filmed.
